 * I bought and uploaded a beautiful theme, but once I activate it in wordpress,
   it looks nothing like the theme I purchased. I knew I would have to make some
   changes, but I thought the basic theme would be there. Am I doing something wrong?
   please help!

 * Try going through the support channel for your commercial theme and see what 
   they can tell you about getting it set up to your liking. These forums aren’t
   able to support commercial themes, though if you have issues with WP itself, 
   or the free themes in the repository, we’re happy to help if we can. Good luck!
