Hello, I wonder if any of you kind users can help?
I am using Thematic and creating a child theme.. Just tinkering with the CSS but I am trouble changing the menu bars on hover link colour.. I don’t seem to be able to over ride the main CSS..
The site is here
Any help appreciated on this!
Try these CSS selectors
Excellent, that works! Thanks for the reply Andrew.
I am stuck however implement the above with #access a:active..
Cant figure out why hover works, not active.
#access li.current-menu-item a
I did #access li.current-menu-item a, #access li.current-menu-parent a
#access li.current-menu-item a, #access li.current-menu-parent a
So it works with the parent when on a child page too..
Many thanks for your help
The function that creates the navigation menu, in your case, is wp_nav_menu() and more can be found about the styles it applies to menu elements here;
