The theater website we are working on has a show archive that dates back all the way to 1951. Do you have any examples of sites using your plugin that are using the archives? I looked in the Showcase but many of them are not in English.

Right now we have the shortcode set to: [wpt_productions paginateby=”season” groupby=”year”] and it shows all of the seasons at the top of the page then lists all of the shows below, which is a really long list with around 10 shows per season for over 60 years! It also creates a really long load time on the server. We would like it to show the most recent season first, then let the user paginate back. Do you have any ideas if this is possible? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi John,

Here you can find a code snippet that does the same thing, but then for lists that are paginated by month:

It defaults to the first tab, unless another tab is specified in the URL.

You can do something similar with season, using $wp_query->query_vars['wpt_season'].

The high load probably only happens if you are logged in to WordPress. Regular users get a cached version of the list.
