the_content functions description

  • I was going through Function References page. I started reading about the the_content(), so for more deatiled look I opened it in editor.
    What do I see:

    function the_content($more_link_text = null, $stripteaser = 0) {
    	$content = get_the_content($more_link_text, $stripteaser);
    	$content = apply_filters('the_content', $content);
    	$content = str_replace(']]>', ']]>', $content);
    	echo $content;
    }

    Here this function have 2 arguments and in description 3.
    Could anyone explaint this conflict?

    Thank you.

    The Codex page need updating. The $more_file parameter is not used as far as I recall.
