 * I’m wondering if there is a way to call the author of the post as their username
   separately from the way the author is publicly displayed?
 * I have an if statement where I would like the call the post authors username
   but in the actual post I want to display the author as a Full Name.
 * Is this possible?

 * Could you reword your question? It’s a bit unclear what you want to do.
 * Are you trying to say:
 * On the front page you want to show the author’s username, but on the actual post
   page you want to show their Full Name?
 * You can use the_author_meta();
