the WordPress query loop does not filter

    Hi Everybody,
    I would like to ask for your help.

    Problem:
    for some reason the query loop on my site is not working well.
    More exactly the filtering function stopped to work.

    Error description:
    I filter blogs by category. In the editor view, the loop filters the blogs fine, showing the blogs that matches the category I entered, but the web page view without filtering shows it.

    More Details:
    I was able to use the query loop fine for a month, then after a recovery – I had somehow changed the text styles and could it only restore with the the backup of previous day – for some reason the filtering function is already stopped to work.
    I’m not a developer, I mainly use the tools provided by WP, so also the query loop is from the basic WP tools.

    I tried repositioning the query loop on another page , entering a different category, reinstalled all the plugins. The result is the same, in the editor view everything is fine, but on the Website it shows different.
    Have you any idea, how can I fix this?
