• Hi,

    I get the message
The WC_Customer::set_postcode function is deprecated since version 3.0. Replace with WC_Customer::set_billing_postcode.
in my apache error log. When I disable the WooCommerce plugin I don’t get the error.

I can’t find where it is from… Any suggestion?

    Kind regards,
    Age

  • Hi,

You are using any outdated WC theme or Extension which is using the deprecated function. Actiate WooCommerce and deactivate other extensions and activate them again one by one to find out which plugin is causing it.

    Thanks

Funny you should mention this; my error logs are totally jammed up with rubbish like this related to Woocomerce.

I have exactly the same error message on 6 websites, using 3 different themes. What do they all have in common? WooCommerce Subscriptions (Ver: 2.2.13, the latest version, which comes with a warning that it hasn’t been tested on the current version of Woocommerce, Ver: 3.2.1).

It seems to be an automatic response to blame errors on users, whereas this kind of error is actually a frequent occurrence/problem with Woocommerce. Sell it first, fix it later, seems to be the ethos.
