• In the slider or other special plugins of Colormag, using it on the homepage, when I need to filter a child category to not show it, the “visibility” function simply does not work. It is not possible to hide a post belonging to the parent category if it is also in a child category, even if it is configured in the filter.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you let us know about how did you implement it within your site? Also, this theme does not support to exclude the posts from child category directly within the widgets bundled within the theme. Hope you have got it.

    Thanks.

I’m trying to use one of the “Featured Post” widgets. Specifically the “TG: Featured Posts (Style 1)”.

    As in the link image:

Initially I determined the use of a category, with the exclusion / disregard (via “Visibility”) if it was in any of the other two categories, selected with “Hide if” -> categories (open condition for any, not restricted to all conditions). Does not work.

Both, using separate categories and using exclusion categories as the “child” of the main category, it still shows all posts, even creating the filter to not display if it also belongs to the other categories.

Can you let us know about how did you create the filter for visibility? Also, maybe provide us the screenshot about what you are trying to refer to, to better understand onto it? And if that is possible then, we might be able to assist you onto it. Hope you have got it.

    Thanks.
