• Hello,
I have allowed the image formats GIF, JPG, and JPEG in the Event Manager settings.

But now I get this error message:

The uploaded file type is not allowed. Allowed file types are:

  • You have 1200 x 1200 for the width and the height but it still says the maximum allowed is 700 x 700? If so, then I have no idea what the problem is. I’m not able to reproduce the problem.

Yes, exactly. I set it to 1200×1200 and get a message saying the maximum allowed is 700×700.

I have another question about recurring events:
I’ve set it to have a market every Thursday between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Why am I being shown the following, even though it’s only one day: May 8, 2025 to May 9, 2025?

The problem with uploads may be due to your configuration of Events Manager with multisite. You can read more about how to configure Events Manager on Multisite: https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/multisite

You can configure a global table where the settings are done on the master site or you can set it up so that settings are controlled locally.

The development version you installed has major changes to how recurring events so there may still be problems with it. You can reinstall the latest production release and see if it resolves the problem.

Hello, I’ve reinstalled the old version.

However, I get this error message again as soon as I upload an image and click “Submit.”

Uploaded file type not allowed. Allowed file types are: NO FILES HERE
So the allowed files aren’t displayed now either…

Or did you mean I should completely uninstall the plugin and then reinstall and configure it?

No, you don’t need to uninstall and reinstall but you do need to read the instructions for using Events Manager on a Multisite install.

Hello, where can I find the events-manager.pot? I seem to be missing it.

You need to open a new topic for new issues.

Hello, why aren’t the allowed file types displayed in the notification when I upload a file via an anonymous contact form?

It simply says: “Uploaded file type not allowed. Allowed file types are:”

“No, you don’t need to uninstall and reinstall it, but you do need to read the instructions for using Events Manager in a multisite installation.”

I’ve reread the instructions, but that doesn’t solve my problem of not being able to upload an image.

With the dev version, it worked up to a size of 700×700. Now with 6.4.4, I can no longer upload an image, and the error message isn’t fully displayed.

You can try the latest development versions of Events Manager.

For Dev or Stable version updates, you can try to check the option Events > Settings > Admin Tools > Development Versions & Updates

Just confirming that the latest updates (version 7) should fix this and issue resolved.
