  • So we’re supposed to GUESS what you’re talking about?

ah dear saurus šŸ™‚ I remember a day not so far ago where you were .. less like me šŸ™‚ Its funny how quick the ‘constant irritation’ sets in around here. šŸ˜›

Yeah – I know. I have a very low threshold for silliness:( I’m getting the idea where you’re coming from now.

    Saurus,

Yes, my humor can be a bit trying. I’ve been tagged as annoying more more people than you’d think. That said, I think that tagging items can help one separate what one is looking for. So if “sardonic humor” is a tag that helps people find me, than I shall accept that tag.

Sardonic humor? You’re not demonstrating any humor at all – you leave a post with a title that is abstract, and in now way making any attempt to explain what the hell you’re talking about. That is not humor – sardonic or otherwise – that is assinine.

Saurus, did you see anything flying over head? Did the lime hit your eye?

Are you a denizen of some alternate universe … or have you been hitting the crack pipe too hard.

“Are you a denizen of some alternate universe … or have you been hitting the crack pipe too hard.”

Naw… perhaps just used to approaching life with an (rarely sufficiently challenged) air of superiority.

“Saurus, did you see anything flying over head? Did the lime hit your eye? “

Hee..hee..hee.. I do believe, Saurus, that mythusmage finds you (and probably the rest of us as well), quite obtuse!!!

“I opine. I opine about most anything I know something about. Unlike some people who prefer to opine about things they know nothing about. Iā€™m on disablity (clinical depression and generalized anxiety disorder), into roleplaying games, and enjoy science, science fiction, history, music, and puns…”

I must admit, although not at all interested in RPG’s, fantasy games, or mystical thinking, I found that the brief time I spent on this site left me surprisingly intrigued. I believe I’ll give it a bookmark!

Hmmmm… he’s on disability because he can’t cope. Well isn’t that special! People with REAL disabilities are rejected 2, 3, 4 times by SocSec, and some people get on the dole because they can’t cope. When I went for my doctors examination (I have had 3 heart attacks, bypass surgery, diabetes with peripheral neuropathy, degenerative lumbar disk disease) there was a young guy in a wheelchair with more problems that I could count who was denied twice for coverage.

Yeah – depressed … sounds fair to me!

Hmmmm… he’s on disability because he can’t cope. Well isn’t that special!

I can’t see where anyone has said anything of the sort. And the only thing you get judged on here, is whether you’re a condescending prick or not. I am in fact surprised that I have been allowed to stay around so long. This may even prove to be my last post, as it has nothing (once again) to do with WordPress.

What I posted two floors up, is an excerpt… a quote… from your own publicly displayed “about” page on your web site. They are your words. Not ours.

People are, who people are. Some of us have cancer, some of us are missing limbs, a lot of use have heart and diabetes problems. Some of us are wearing house arrest GPS ankle bracelets courtesy of the Federales (oops.. a little too much info there, huh?) And yes, we can all be pretentious idiots. The internet makes that way too easy.

My point is, that we all come here because we like (or hate) WordPress, and we need to know something (or more) about it. Most of us either feel the need to help someone (for who knows whatever reasons), or needs some help. I hope someone gets a chance to actually help you with WordPress while you are here. But as a victim of my own mouth on more occasions than I like to admit, I’ll tell you that if you can’t take it, don’t dish it out. (Holy Crap. I thought I got rid of my soapbox. I guess I’ll have to revise my New Years resolutions…again). Sorry.

I hope that you are as well as you can be this Holiday Season and always, and can spend time with those you care about. I’m going to go wish my Moms a Merry Christmas now. Well, she’s stopping by here… (Damned GPS technology).

    Peace.

    Cj

A little mixed up there, Clayton – the “opine” quote is not mine – it’s what’s his names:)

Ahh, yes. My most humble apologies Saurus, I jumped the gun and incorrectly assumed that a reply by mythusmage was what I was responding too. Please forgive my sudden inability to actually read something more than once before I comment. Clearly my content was presented under the incorrect assumption that I was replying to mythusmage.

    Kind of reinforces what I said here;

“I am in fact surprised that I have been allowed to stay around so long. This may even prove to be my last post, as it has nothing (once again) to do with WordPress.”

I hope you will accept my sincere apology.

No apology necessary – my skin is thicker than that:)

    Have a happy!~

Saurus was right, thanks to depression and generalized anxiety (I may even be autistic) in many ways I can’t cope. I’m wired wrong. I can function so long as I take my medication and live quietly, but pressure makes me strange.

Saurus has a different sort of neurological disorder, he’s clueless. He’s also impulsive and reactive. He reacts to what he hears, instead of taking the time to actually think about it.

As to the tags once found on the front page of the directory, I found where they were moved. Yes, the tags associated with the directory themes are still there, but where theme authors alone are most likely to see theme. You don’t go looking for information on how to submit a theme to the directory you’re not going to see those tags. That’s why I wrote the original post and what I’m hoping to accomplish.

So here’s my question for everybody who cares to ponder it; should the theme tags be listed on the Theme Directory’s home page?

Saurus has a different sort of neurological disorder, he’s clueless. He’s also impulsive and reactive. He reacts to what he hears, instead of taking the time to actually think about it.

Yeah – I guess 60 years of dealing with dumbasses can have that effect. You ought to know. I frequent this place in an attempt to help people when I can. I do not come here to “opine”, nor do I wish to waste my time seeking the grail, or trying to figure out what people are asking.

When one has a question – one ASKS a question. One does not ask people to ponder the vagaries of the universe.
