[Resolved] The tag_name parameter has to be defined

  • I am attempting to place a gallery using an Instagram hashtag… and am getting the error “The tag_name parameter has to be defined”. I’ve tried filling out everything in the gallery requirements, to no avail.

PS: It works if I just use the feed of popular photos. It only seems to break when I try to pull in only images with a particular tag.

What is the shortcode you are using? This is what is needed for tag display:
    [gallery type='instagram' view='tag' tag_name='christmas' thumb_size=75 columns=5]

I am using what was generated by placing it through the “Media” gallery, then clicking on Photonic, then Instagram…

    [gallery type='instagram' view='tag' kind='popular' tag='cincinnati' thumb_size='200' ]

But, I just tried using your code above and it worked! There must just be a bug in the interface when it generates the code for you.

    Thank You!

I will fix the shortcode generation code in the next release.

    Thank you!
