Support » Fixing WordPress » The Tag cloud leads to not found-page

  • I did: I activated the tag cloud widget and clicked on a tag.

I saw: After clicking on a tag it doesn’t show all my posts. Instead I only see a message that says “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

I expected: To see a list of the posts saved under that tag.

How do I fix this? I can’t find a solution on the forums…

  • Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

Ok, this is my website where you can see on the sidebar the tag cloud widget. If I click on a tag like this it takes me to a page in my website that says “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

Is there something I can do to fix this?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If that works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

Ok I found the plugin that’s creating the problem. It’s the Ultimate Tag Warrior. I have deactivated and the tag cloud widget now works. Thank you very much for your help.
