[resolved] The static home page is not counted (3 posts)

It does not count the static home page in the statistics, even when I visit it through it's slug-adress.
For example, the slug name of my static home page at terriblethings.biz is 'sample-page'. (as I am lazy and just changed the first page after install of wordpress. ;) )
I can visit the page with terriblethings.biz/sample-page, but still no counts for the page are generated.
I use the theme Twenty Twelve.

Otherwise all statistics seem to work perfect, thank's a lot!

    Hi Snorvarg,

This is by design, actually. The homepage is the most viewed page on any WordPress-based site, and updating its views count each time someone enters your site could result in a performance hit - specially if you get a huge amount of visitors per day.

Sounds wise enough to me. :)
