There was no way to remove this message. I tried everything and nothing worked. So I downloaded the WP Rollback plugin. Now I’m running a previous version until the developer comes to his senses or I find a plugin to replace Contact Form7

I am having the same exact issues. Luckily I only have one contact 7 form. Since the update, the error message says configuration problems, and I am not geting mail from the form. I may switch to a different form for now? Should I just copy the old plug in and use it?

How do we get in contact with the developer?

Just install a plugin called WP Rollback and rollback Contact Form 7 to the previous version. This plugin is useful every time you upgrade a plugin and it gives you grief. Just rollback to the previous version and wait for the developer to address the situation.

Thanks! I will do this. Do you recommend another form plug-in, in case this one isn’t resolved too quickly? Or….just stay with this one. It looks like contact form 7 has a paypal included version also.

O.K. Another friend tested the form and now it works when she tests it. I will probably roll it back anyway. Another friend tested it and it didn’t work.

The rollback worked like a charm…..I will have it tested. No config error reports. I guess we will wait till the next update?
