Hey,
I’m normally not supporting this plugin any more, but did you put in
[wp-galleriffic]
to the post?
This plugin does not override the [gallery] shortcode but inserts a gallery of the attached images with it’s own shortcode.
Well, this is a big misunderstanding because of lack of documentation.
Why should I start a gallery of the pictures which are already in the post or page?
Why should I create one site and show that’s images in another page?
This plugin works completely contra all user’s expectations and the documentation is not clear at all.
Sorry, can’t use this. I tried different ways, adding galleries, adding single images, and what for?
I give up.
I’ll make it clean.
I’ve moved on and had not been supporting this plugin for ages, marking it as abandoned.
But.
When this plugin was created the gallery functionality in WordPress was very different: you by default browsed images uploaded to the post in the media manager. You can still do this but you need to select the “uploaded to this post” options.
This plugin used those images attached to the post ( not the inserted but the attached ones ) as source and displayed them as a gallery.
There’s no lack of documentation; it did what it stated very clearly in it’s readme file.
Also, WordPress should alert that the plugin has not been tested with you WordPress version; do not expect any plugin to work in that case.
Cheers,
Peter
