 * Yeah…
    The shortcode generator in TinyMCE editor
 * It’s just not there!
 * I mean everything else works fine, and I even tried disabling EVERY other plugin
   except this one, but it just doesn’t show The shortcode generator in TinyMCE
   editor.
 * I can copy the short code from the widgets manually, and they show up in pages
   and posts. The only issue I see is that The shortcode generator in TinyMCE editor
   just doesn’t get added in at all.

 * I’ll second this. What happened to the shortcode generator icon? 4.7.3, gone.
 * Help! Love this plugin.

 * Hi 🙂
    This is a very odd issue, I have not removed this feature from the plugin.
   Sometimes WP loses widgets (specially after switching themes) so that may be
   why. Go to Appearance > Widgets and see if your widgets are in the Arbitrary
   widget area (only the widgets in there will appear in the shortcode generator).
   Also try re-saving the widgets in that widget area. Please let me know how it
   goes.

 * JFYI
    The Arbitrary Widget Area doesn’t show when in “customize.php” the “live”
   theme editor in the widget section, it only shows in “widgets.php” which is something
   I rarely use. But that is fine really, but would be nice to have it in both places.
 * Also yes, you’re right! The shortcode generator icon in the visual editor does
   show up, but only when widgets are placed in the Arbitrary Widget section, which
   I guess is fine, but would be nice if it would just let you choose from any of
   the widget areas.
 * I would suggest just removing the Arbitrary Widget area and just make the plugin
   detect any widgets that are active. Although in reality… It’s not that hard for
   me to go to my widgets list, choose one that’s in the sidebar, copy the shortcode
   for it, and paste it into a page/post.
 * Anyways… yeah ttyl 🙂
