I have already fixed this, but I want to know how did this happen? I have the following settings for blocking after 10 failed attempts within 5 minutes. I have noticed that there were 13 failed attempts, but it was from different users, not from one user. And the server IP address got blacklisted itself, NOT the user IP addresses. So, is this a bug? or something wrong with my settings? I have already whitelisted the server IP address to prevent this in the future, but want to know more about this. Thank you.

    Hi,

It is only possible in case of SHARED HOSTING. If you are on shared hosting, there might be some others have same IP address for their websites and they have attacking script and that is why it got blacklisted.
