  • I recently changed my password for Instagram and when I went back to the Networks page to delete it and re-add it I got all the way to the screen where you need to put in the emailed code that Instagram sends you. Everytime I put in the code they sent I got a message that says:

“The security code entered was not accepted. Instagram has sent you a new security code by email.”

I tried this 4 times and no luck still. Any help on this?

    Hello everyone, hello @sam69,

Instagram has changed the authorization process and our developers are currently working at full speed on adapting this new authorization process to the new interface. We are currently in the final testing phase and are hoping to release a working solution by today.

For the moment we recommend to confirm the Instagram security request to login everytime Instagram asks you. Resolving this issue is our main focus at the moment and I will keep all of you posted on new results immediately.

    Best regrads.

    Hello @everyone,

We have adapted the Blog2Social interface for Instagram accordingly. You can now reconnect your account to post on Instagram.

How to connect and post to Instagram:

Please log out of your current Instagram session and reconnect your Instagram account to Blog2Social via ‘Blog2Social’ > ’Networks’ > ’+Profile’.

Due to Instagram’s new security settings, you might receive the following security challenges or error message. If so, please follow our instructions below:

    1) Due to the new authentication process, you may be prompted to enter a security code to confirm your account. Instagram will send you an email or SMS with a security code for your e-mail account. Please, copy and paste this code into the Blog2Social popup window for the security code and click ‘confirm’.

    2) If you have clicked on “confirm” but your account does not appear among your connected networks, please log into your instagram account. You may receive a message saying that Instagram detected “suspicious login attempts” from the Blog2Social server based near Cologne, Germany.

Solution: Please, confirm “This was me”. This is important to receive a new verification code and successfully connect to Instagram.

    3) If you successfully connected your Instagram account but still receive the following error message: “Your limit has temporarily been reached for this network. Try again later.”, you may have shared too many posts in short succession.

Please note that Instagram has released new security standards for the frequency of posts and does not allow posts in short succession.

Solution: Wait for about 1 – 3 minutes between posts in order to share your images successfully on Instagram.

    4) If you successfully connected your Instagram account but receive the following error message: “Your authorization is interrupted. Please check your authorization.”, please follow these 3 steps:

    – Log out of any current Instagram sessions.
    – Delete your Blog2Social connection to Instagram and
    – Reconnect to Instagram.

    Unfortunately…when i click confirm….i receive this message.

Sorry your request can not be processed by’ll Blog2social. Please contact our support team!

clicked add profile. on 2nd screen, confirm….whether i do the detect unusual activity or not, still same result. I’m about to pull the plug on this plugin.

A help desk should not take a week for a resolve.

I can confirm this is working, but with issues.

I got the same message as @coreytacos above, but then I refreshed the Network page and hit the small “refresh” icon next to Instagram and it popped up asking for me to put in the verification code. I got the code in my email, input it and now the connections is tested and working.

I’m glad it worked for someone @lbpp. I replicated your method. Nothing. Same ridiculous cycle.

Thanks, seems to work again, I managed to post to instagram
