• Hello,

    I install the plugin, I made many tests, and for products content and for tags are working (just for tags are not visible in the preview in the search bar)
    The real need is to index the words from comments reviews, but after all test I did is not recognized at all any word from comments section. How can solve this problem? I try all the options possible.

    Is Relevanssi set to index the comments? Are the reviews just regular comments? If you look at a post with a review with the Relevanssi debugger, do you see any comment content there?

    I tried to find an option to activate comments for the review, but is not possible.
    Another solution can be the tags, but the problem with tags is:
    1. If, for example, I have to search for DIOR SAUVAGE, the search engine will give me the list with all the products containing word sausage or Dior (if this is in the text is working correctly)
    2. If i type in the search engine a word from tag, the search engine will not give a preview. This is the reason I would like more to have index from the comments.

Is that something that’s built in in your theme, or is it a plugin? Often the built-in dropdown searches do not use Relevanssi at all, so nothing you do in Relevanssi will affect the dropdown search.

    1. Reviews are not comments, and index are set up to comments. I think this is the reason the Revelanssi are not indexed in reviews session.

    2. Yes, I am talking about dropdown search. The search engine is directly from Porto Theme.
    For example, for words indexed from title or product text, the drop-down search are working perfectly. And our search engine naturally can index just titles, this mean for product text descriptions the search engine are using Relevanssi index.

    1. What are the reviews, then? Where are they stored in WordPress? Is it a separate post type, or something else?

    2. I don’t know how the Porto theme dropdown search and it’s a premium theme, so I can’t study it. Thus I can’t really say much about it.

    No; that would be against the forum rules and I can get suspended if I’m seen asking you the login details. In any case, it’s a level of support I can only provide for Relevanssi Premium customers.

    User comment at my site products then we approve the comment after comment approved product not show at the website… then we unapproved the product after that product visible… how can we set the comment approve and products visible also..

    Please start a new thread instead of posting to a month-old thread about a different problem.

    Please describe the problem in more detail: what you did, what happens, and how have you checked that this problem is about Relevanssi.

    If you look at the browser javascript console on the product page, it’s full of errors; I’d start by fixing those.

    Who can we fixed browser javascript console on the product page, it’s full of errors;

    we are useing porto theme… tomorrow i checked review (comment) at any one product.. then i wrote comment then submit… after that i can approve comment from comment section then product not showing ( that product i wrote review ).. please help me

    Please start a new thread for your problem.

    In that thread, please describe how your problem is related to Relevanssi, because so far I’m not sure it is. I am not a general WordPress helpdesk (if there’s a problem with the theme, Porto theme support is the place to go), I only help with Relevanssi problems here.
