Just set up a new site and I am receiving this error under the WordPress Site Health Tool:
“The REST IPA did not behave correctly
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.
The REST API did not process the
contextquery parameter correctly.”
What I have figured out so far is the error disappears when I either deactivate Yoast plugin or change to the default Twentytweny theme instead of my chosen theme (themeco pro) – OR it also disappears if I turn off the “REST API: head endpoint” setting that’s appeared with the new Yoast update (seo > general > features > REST API: head endpoint).
I have the same plugins and themes as another site so I have no idea why this is happening, or if it’s a completely separate issue.
I’m still fairly beginner and I definitely don’t know much about REST IPAs, and I can’t find any similar issues online. Can anyone help with this?
