    after installing this plugin
    there are two errors

1)The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

2)The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

you can check in the site health of wp after installing wp!

  • Hi @celebvoice

    Thank you for writing in.

Please contact your hosting server and request them for maximum execution time.

Please do contact us if you have any questions/ issues.

    Regards!

I have the same problem. Which value do you recommend for the maximum execution time (I have set it up to 300 for now, but problem still exists)?

    Hi @publicbiro @celebvoice

    Thank you for writing back,

Please go to your browser and search for the ” The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed) “. You will find the results. Yes, the issue only displays when you activate the plugin. The memory limit of your site provided by the hosting server is less then the rest API needs to run.

Please check this link https://in.godaddy.com/community/Using-WordPress/cURL-error-28-on-Wordpress-site/td-p/140059 Godday hosting company provided the solution here.

Could you please send this link to your hosting provider? and asked for this rest API related issues solution.

Please do contact us if you have any questions.

    Regards!

We are having the same issue. From experience this is not a server issue but with the plugin itself. We have a dedicated server with more than enough ressources and this plugin is creating errors with Curl / REST.

If you read the full godaddy thread, the issue is not a server issue but an issue with a plugin.

    Hi @kokomoweb

    Thank you for writing in.

We will check on this issue and let you know ASAP.

    Regards!
