The REST API encounterd an error
-
“The REST API encounterd an error” is detected as “critical issues” in “Tool”-> “Site Health”.
The following is a detailed message.——
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages. The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)
——If you disable Plugin: Access Category Password, the above error will not be detected, and if enabled, it will be detected again.
Wouldn’t Site Health go unnoticed?
This error may have been detected before, but after WordPress Ver.5.4, I noticed that the site health results are displayed on the dashboard.
