This is most likely some kind of plugin conflict. Related posts come from Jetpack. I’m not sure but it seems that you’re using some kind of lazy loading plugin or maybe the same feature from Jetpack, so I’d start debugging from there.
You can also try to temporarily disable all plugins and see if the issue goes away.
If it does, then enable them one by one until it breaks related images. Then you’ll know which one is causing it.

Well, I tried deactivating all the plugins one by one but it didn’t resolve the issue. It’s strange because when I open an article from the featured post, it displays all the related post. Then when I click on any of the article, the related posts don’t show and once I refresh it, they show again
Yes, I’ve got exactly the same behaviour on my side.
If you’ve tried the thing with the plugins and it didn’t work, could you try to ask for help in the Jetpack support forum – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/, since related posts feature is the part of Jetpack.
If you don’t resolve it there, just respond to this thread and we’ll see what to do next.

I did ask help from the Jetpack forum. They too said the same thing about plugins. I did the same and no result. Now waiting for their reply on what to do next 🙂

I’m afraid this is some plugin related issue. You’re using Jetpack related posts module so I believe they can help you more with this issue.
Please note that we have build in Recent Posts section in Kale Pro which works very well.
