# The provided source has failed authentication

 * Hello,
 * I am getting the following failed orders with this error message:
 * > Stripe SCA authentication failed. Reason: The provided source has failed authentication.
   > You can provide source_data or a new source to attempt to fulfill this PaymentIntent
   > again. Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
 * But within Stripe the payment status is succeeded but has a 400 ERR
 * Any help on this would be great

 * This error usually means that the card used to make the purchase failed to pass
