Make stand-alone plugin (why on earth do i have to connect to you site “API” and to work on translations from your “dashboard”. There is no justification for this).

    The price is ridiculous.

If you make it stand-alone, i will buy it for sure and forthemore will recommand it for all my clients as the best WP language ever.

    Hi Rami,

Did you see we have a free plan for small website? Also 100€/year means about 8€/month. I don’t think it’s a ridiculous price considering the level of service that Weglot provides.

Also, you need an API Key to get an automatic translation. How would you be able to get an automatic translation if it’s standalone?

    What service?
I dont need your system to translate.
I want to translate myself and in my envirement.
And i dont want any system in between!

Belive me, youll get tons of money if youll consider this method.

Ok, if you don’t want to use any API and you want to have everything in your local environment, then indeed you shouldn’t use Weglot. Maybe it’s not best for you.

But Weglot is very well suited when you want to have an automatic translation that you can then manually edit of course. We also have a platform where you can edit or order professional translation.

Your 1-star review is very hard because I worked hard on the plugin and it’s working very well. I’ll be glad if you consider removing this hard review.

    Thank you.

I found what i have searched for: TranslatePress
This is exactly what i need.
    No API.
    No trials.
No Yearly fees (it is free to translate for your own desire).
I’ll suggest you follow this method.

    Hey Rami,

The plugin you are mentioning also have a yearly fee (otherwise you have no more updates or support). In the free version, you have no support and if you want to have automatic translations, you need to pay a separate API key.

I’m not saying this is not good, it’s also a good plugin but it’s for different usage. Many users actually need the automatic + manual translation and want to have an advanced dashboard to manage translations.

But you limit the words to 2000! And i cant translate inside my system.

Yes it’s because our product includes automatic translations and we are paying the automatic translation. So we can’t give unlimited words, I hope you understand.

In your case, I agree you can use another plugin. But why put a 1-star review when Weglot plugin is working very well is exactly what many users need.
