Hi been using this great plugin for over 4 years and lately the podcast page when you click on the page from the menu changes the web page to an error “The http://www.wordswithgeeks.com page isn’t working”, “www.wordswithgeeks.com is currently unable to handle this request.”, “HTTP ERROR 500” I try changing setting but no luck. I have 543 podcast post so far. Any ideas to fix this problem? Thank you for your help. Ed

Looks like you’ve got a podcast page here:
    http://www.wordswithgeeks.com/geeksters-podcasts/
When I try and visit that URL, it comes up as a blank page. You said you were getting an error 500 response before. Many times, those are caused by php memory limits or corrupted .htaccess files on the server. I’d suggest contacting the support dept. for the company that hosts your website and ask them if they’re seeing anything specific in the logs that’s causing the problem. Please report back here with whatever they tell you.

I had this error before with another hosting company and when I said it was a corrupt file they gave a generic file to use. This time I looked about a corrupt .htaccess file and it gvae me this article to fix the problem which it did.

Is everything working now as expected? When I tried to visit your link above just now, it came up as a 404 not found.

I switch the permalink to http://www.wordswithgeeks.com/?page_id=76 and it works.

OK, glad to hear everything’s working now as expected.

Hello Shawn, I did look further onto why I was not able to use the permalink I wanted. I contacted my hosting provider and they suggested to change the permalink but I was wonder what cause it and they told me it is a plug in conflicting with the PowerPress and I found it to be the BuddyPress conflicted with that and the Fast Contact Plugin. I removed it and everything is work just like before, thanks for your help.
