The plugin stops before a few days running well
Could someone help me?
I installed “Yet-another-related-posts” plugin on my blog, WordPress 2.3.3, and it was running well until a few days ago.
But today, I saw that the plugin is not showing the “related posts” on the bottom of each post, nor the “not related posts found” phrase when no related post where found.
I have tested inumerous configurations in the plugin admin area, but nothing makes any effect. I have also deactivaded and re-activated the plugin, but the problem remains.
I have the following plugins installed:
– All in One SEO Pack
– Dagon Design Sitemap Generator
– FeedBurner FeedSmith
– Feed Footer (deactivated)
– Google XML Sitemaps
– Psychic Search
– Subscribe To Comments
– TailHitter (to use Hittail)
– Ultimate Google Analytics
– WP-HOTWords (to use a Brazilian affiliate links)
– Yet Another Related Posts Plugin
Could someone help me on this issue, please? 🙂
@ewsg — Hm… that’s really strange. I’m sorry to hear that. Did you change any settings that you can think of around the time that . If it was working before, that is what I would be suspicious of…
I personally am not familiar with most of those plugins. If you’d like to disable some of the other plugins and see if that fixes it, here’s a hint: the plugins to be suspicious of are those that also change the output of content (technically, ones that use a
the_contentfilter, if you know what that means). For example, anything that adds text at the bottom of your posts. This means, for example, FeedBurner or Google XML Sitemaps (two which I happen to know) probably aren’t the culprits. If you do identify a certain plugin as incompatible with YARPP, please do let me know—I’ll try to take care of it in the latest release of YARPP.
I would also try deleting the plugin files completely, redownloading and reinstalling. You may have to reenter your settings later, but it’s worth a try.
Sorry I can’t be of more use. Good luck!
