 * Hi [@22summer](https://wordpress.org/support/users/22summer/)
 * Spotlight doesn’t have any mechanism that would deactivate itself on a schedule,
so something else is likely causing this. The first thing we need to figure out
is what state the plugin is actually in when the issue happens.
 * The next time the feed shows the raw shortcode, before deactivating or reactivating
anything, could you please go to **Plugins** in your WordPress dashboard and
check which of these situations applies?
    1. **Spotlight is listed as Inactive.**
If that’s the case, something else on the
site is deactivating it. One possibility is a scheduled backup, staging-to-live
sync, restore, or maintenance process from your hosting provider that is putting
the site back into an earlier state. If WordPress has sent you an email saying
something like _“Your site is experiencing a technical issue,”_ please send
that to us as well. It usually includes the file involved and could give us
       a useful clue.
    2. **Spotlight is still listed as Active, but the feed is broken.**
       In that case,
Spotlight may have detected a conflict with another plugin. You should normally
see a red notice in the WordPress dashboard mentioning the conflicting plugin.
If you see one, please send us a screenshot.
 * Also, do you have anything running on the site on a daily schedule, such as backups,
staging/live syncs, restores, or maintenance jobs?
