Hi, SLB appears to be working properly at the link you provided. I would recommend clearing your browser’s cache and test the page again.

If SLB still is not working for you, please provide some more details (browser, operating system, etc.) and I would be glad to take another look.

    Hello,
    Thanks a lot for replying…
If I just insert the images, SLB is not working…
But, if I insert the image links, SLB is working…
I don’t know whether that is how I must use the plugin…
So, I must insert the image links…

    Anyway, I’m happy that it’s working…

    Regards,

Links are required for proper functionality. Without links, there is nothing for a user to click on (or for SLB to know what should be displayed when something is clicked).

For more information, see SLB’s Beginner’s Guide.

Lightbox is not working on my website. I have used links to images. I’ve tried everything. I spent hours and hours trying to make it work. I’m on the verge of giving up. So annoying.

Hi Marie, SLB does not appear to be installed at the link you provided. If you are still experiencing an issue with SLB, please open a ticket for your issue at SLB’s official support forum.

I’ve installed and activated SLB and it does not appear to be working. Do I need to do anything to existing posts?
How exactly do I go and check to see if my theme is using the “wp_head(), wp_footer(), & the_content()” tags? Where do I go to check this, and if they are not there, where exactly do I put them?

Thanks for walking me through this – this is all new to me.

    Thank you!

Hi @meddle01, any professionally-made theme should include these standard template tags. If the theme you are using does not use these tags, I would recommend contacting the theme developer and request that they use them.

Also, if you can provide a link to a page on your site that is exhibiting the issue you are experiencing, I would be glad to take a look.

Thanks for the reply. I did check with the developer of the site, they just said your plugin was buggy and not to use it. I suspect they didn’t want to admit that they didn’t use these tags, or they are hacks. If you can point me in the right direction, I can check and ensure they are there. I’m sure this is the problem.

    Thanks

Hi, sorry to hear you’re getting the run around. Can you please provide a link to the theme and to a page on your site that exhibits the problem you are experiencing so that I can take a closer look.

    Thanks.

Hi, there are several validation issues on that page that is keeping the page from being rendered properly. The biggest issue is that the HTML document is being truncated, which is stopping SLB (and potentially other plugins) from fully loading.

    More information: HTML validation issues

See here for instructions on identifying whether a plugin or theme is causing the issue.

Let me know what you find and we’ll go from there.
