same here. Just wanted to test it out because WP doesn’t fit right with IFTTT. As IFTTT always deactivates the connection with WP automatically after couple hours automatically. Generally, IFTTT does better at connecting as it doesn’t require any plugins that can be a security hole or give out errors like this. So disappointing.
count me in for this. @zapier please fix
Zapier’s support said they have seen this happen when it is attempted to be activated straight after installation – and recommended trying to activate a second time, which did work for me.
I’ve seen this happen with other plugins as well. If you go to your plugins page (/plugins.php) to activate it, rather than trying to activate from the plugin install page (plugin-install.php) there’s a good chance it will work 🙂
@cliffpaulick Thank you, that worked for me!
👍 (Still should be fixed)
Me too. Would have loved to use Zapier but can’t when their plugin doesn’t work.
And they want us to pay for Zaps as well, this is crazy.
I talked with someone on zapier and they told me I NEEED to buy https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-zapier/ … but its so unclear because https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-zapier/ is by WooCommerce and Not Zapier.
count me in. i have also activated from plugin.php page after viewing this thread but why? why no support team reply here? too bad support 😕
This worked for me:
I received the error when I tried to activate it from the “Add Plugins” page, but when I went to the “Installed Plugins” page and activated it from there it worked.
Maybe it was about trying twice. I don’t know, but it worked.
Many thanks @nicksimard – Installing from the plugins page works perfectly!
