Support » Fixing WordPress » The plugin does not have a valid header.

  • Hello,

I woke up this morning and found the following error on our site:

    https://prnt.sc/ue6d7h

The plugin ” ” has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.

All plugins are activated and the site is working as expected but I still see this error.

So I proceeded to Deactivate ALL plugins to try and eliminate the offending plugin and STILL the error showed so now I don’t know what to do.

If it is none of the installed plugins, then which plugin is it??

So I accessed the plugins directory and moved them ALL in to a sub-folder called tmp and STILL the error persists.

    So what now??

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Is there noone that can assist with this one??

    Is this a lost cause??

I’m experiencing the same exact issue. I’ve renamed the plugin folder to deactivate all of them, and even switched to a default WP theme. Seeing the same error with no indication of what plugin is causing the issue. Nothing in the error logs. Not sure how to trouble shoot this.

This is bizarre! Is there really noone who can assist with this? What data do we check in the DB? This is clearly not a file issue because the plugins have all been removed.

    So what now?!?!
