• Error, “The plugin does not have a valid header.”

Solutions, do not activate plugin in the same screen as you install it on. Once you have installed the plugin, go to your list of plugins in your site and activate it there to work around this issue.

Needs addressed, otherwise, this is a great plugin!

Thank you! Can you clarify the steps to recreate? We’d love to fix this. Are you saying that if you hit install and then hit activate before refreshing the screen you get this error?

That’s correct. For me to activate the plugin, I had to go out to another page and then go back into my list of plugins to activate it there, rather then the WordPress “Add Plugin” area. I could install it there, but not activate it. That’s where I got that error. Hope that helps.

Hi @jmansfie42 , we just released version 1.3.5 that fixes this issue.

I do know that you have the plugin installed already but if you come across needing to install it again, this should fix the issue.

Also, we rely on our ratings and reviews to continue to get our open-source plugins out to the WordPress community. If you feel this fixes the issue enough to warrant a 5-star from you, that would be awesome 🙂 Otherwise, let us know how we can continue to approve. Thanks!
