The plugin does not filter cookies properly. Even before the user consents, the gat_gtag_UA cookie (Google Analytics) is active. In other plugins it is a cookie blocked, here not. What’s more, the list of compatible plugins has 4 items, which means that, for example, plugin can not block the activity of Google Site Kit or Google Tag Manager.

    Hi @schuerich,

Our plugin allows you to protect the privacy of your website visitors by disabling scripts from Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager unless you get explicit consent. To enable this feature, simply enter the script into the script input field located within the “cookie category” of the plugin’s menu.

After finishing the scan, you can remove the script from your theme and paste it into the cookie category’s script input field. For Google Analytics and Tag Manager scripts, they can be added to the ‘Analytics’ cookie category.

Please keep in mind that our free version can only support the plugins specified in the script blocker, so you can add the script to the cookie category rather than using the Google site kit plugin, to enable blocking.
