 * although i am having problems to get it running correctly at the moment, i can
   feel the power of this plugin. Therefore i give you 5 stars for this simple and
   great plugin.
 * I also have some idea’s for your plugin :
 * – Add an option where you can push the generated static files to another domain
   with ftp.
    – Add an option where if you change something on a page/post/etc and
   you hit done that your plugin will automatically create a static page for that
   page/post/etc only.
 * **– Add an option where you can push the generated static files to another domain
   with ftp.**
 * Now you only have 2 options to create files. By using a subdomain and then via
   zip or by using a subdomain on the same host.
 * Why not add ftp as a 3rd option ? Then you are not limited by zip or a subdomain.
   When you select ftp, you can add a name from that domain so the links in the
   static files will refer to that domain. Next the option for the ftp login can
   be added.
 * What could be the benefit of this 3rd ftp option ?
 * – No need for creating subdomains if your customer for example does not have
   this option
    – No need for customers to run the required software for wordpress–
   Options as a webdesigner to use your domain for creating websites and that you
   can push your created website to your customer. For example i create most of
   the time informative websites. No live blogs, just information pages. So no need
   for a live wordpress running in the back. This way i can just update the website
   on my own domain for this customer and then push it as static files to their
   domain.
 * Example :
 * – Cust request informative website
    – Does not want to run it or change. Using
   me for updates on the website – Cust has domain [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)–
   Create subdomain on my OWN domain customer1.workspace.com – Install your plugin–
   Set Delivery Method to ftp – Set destination url to : [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)–
   Set ftp address,login,port,password – Create wordpress website – When finished
   Hit generate ( asks permission to do it to exclude errors ) – Static pages are
   uploaded to [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)
 * If you have more customers then you can add a second sub domain customer2.workspace.
   com and repeat the above.
 * This way you can create your wordpress websites on the internet in your own private
   space in the cloud and control multiple websites from 1 spot.
 * **– Add an option where if you change something on a page/post/etc and you hit
   done that your plugin will automatically create a static page for that page/post/
   etc only.**
 * Now it is all or nothing when you hit generate but wouldn’t it be great if this
   was also possible if you just update the pages/posts/etc you have changed ?
 * For example :
 * – Customer calls and wants 4 changes done on 4 seperate pages.
    – You login to
   his workspace on your OWN domain customer1.workspace.com – You edit the 4 pages
   and save it. – Your plugin then gets a call that these pages has been updated
   and created static pages of it and then put’s it in a queue. – Then you go to
   the generate page and you see the 4 pages in this overview. – Hit upload and
   it will only upload the 4 generated static pages.
 * This would be imo a nice addon for this page.

 * Hi innerchildweb,
 * Thanks for the review and for the in-depth suggestions! Both of your suggestions
   are definitely things we are considering for the future of Simply Static. I’m
   glad you’re finding the plugin useful and hopefully we’ve gotten all of your
   issues sorted out 🙂
 * Best,
    Scott

 * Exactly the same needs than innerchildweb :)…
 * I’ll just add the option to keep the work delayed. Because it can be more comfortable
   to work this manner ;). Otherwise, I totally agree with him 🙂 !
 * Impatient to see it all 🙂 !
 * Amicably,
 * Pierre.

 * Thanks Pierre! I’m impatient to see it all too, haha. I constantly find myself
   wishing I had more time than I do.
 * Best,
    Scott
