Hi! I am writing to you because I am having a problem to attach the PDF of the invoice to an email.
I use The event calendar and I want to attach the PDF to the ticket email they send.
I have several sites working perfectly. But the last one I did does not work. And it’s all cloned from my other sites.
If I attach it to the woocommerce completed email if it arrives. Although not with all the data.
Obvious I have checked in the configuration to send me that email
Do you know what it could be?

Hi! I’m sorry to hear it’s not working. I think we need a bit more information to be able to help.

    1. When you mention ‘it’s all cloned from my other sites’, are you saying that on those sites the PDF is also attached to those ‘ticket emails’?
    2. You also mention that data is missing from the PDF in the WooCommerce Completed email, could you tell us what data you’re missing there?
    3. Is this the plugin that you’re using? The Events Calendar. Are you using that on all these ‘clone sites’?

Let us know and we’ll do our best to help!

    Hello!
    1. Yes! in my other sites that work the same. Attach correct the PDF to the ticket mail
    2. For example the cost of the ticket.
    3. Yes! It’s the plugin I use to sell the tickets. And the one that sends the ticket email where I attach the PDF.

I tried to disable all the plugins, less wordpress and event calendar. And it did not arrive either.
    Sorry for my bad English

If the email doesn’t arrive altogether, I think it’s one of the following two things:

    • Your server may not have enough memory to process the task of creating the PDF and sending the email
    • There may be an issue with the email service on the site. If you are not sending the emails by SMTP yet, I would recommend setting that up to eliminate that as a cause. This is recommended for several other reasons, it will reduce the likelyhood of the emails ending up in the spam folder of your customers too. Read this: WooCommerce Email FAQ

    Hi Ewout!
The memory is set to 256 for WordPress and PHP. Also my other sites are on the same server and they work.
Regarding the shipment I use SendGrid. I tried disabling the plugin. And also using the API and SMTP option. And the PDF does not arrive.
I will continue reviewing. Thank you

Sendgrid should indeed work fine, so I’m pretty sure that’s not the issue.

If the exact same configuration works on other sites, it’s quite likely this is a server configuration issue somewhere, it makes it quite hard for me to determine what’s wrong.

Just to avoid confusion, when you say ‘the PDF does not arrive’, do you mean the email does not arrive, or do you mean it arrives without an attachment?

Can you create those invoices manually without any errors?

The email arrives, but without the attachment.
And the invoices inside the WordPress administrator I see them perfect.
I’m trying to use the completed order mail. Let’s see if I can solve it that way

I could solve it It was a problem with a code that generates a QR code. I overwrote it with another version of my sites and it worked. It seems that when he migrated he copied it badly.
Thanks for the impeccable attention and the interest to help me to roll it.
    Sorry for wasting your time.
