  • I found my version is my notes 4.8.2

    Hello @misterburris88

Based on confirming that I also see the ISE 500 error alongside your website currently hosting with GoDaddy who utilizes the CloudLinux PHP Selector your problem will most likely be a PHP Version error.

Sometimes when a host updates/transitions the “native” PHP version it can cause this for customers. Additionally, sometimes certain “modules” get removed such as the “mysql” module which can cause these type of errors.

Your host should be able to look at their servers error logs to tell you exactly. But you may find that you can make the following changes to try self-diagnose the problem. GreenGeeks ( the company I work for) also utilizes this application for some of our customer servers and we wrote an article about it back in 2013. It will be a bit outdated but should help visually guide you through the process. You can check it out should you wish:

    https://www.greengeeks.com/blog/2013/01/22/new-tool-choose-your-php-version/

The main thing will be to try transition from what I expect will be PHP 7.x natively to PHP 5.6 or PHP 5.3. Each time you change the version ensure you hit save THEN click on the “Use Defaults” for the modules making sure that “mysql”, “mysqli” are both checked when available.

If in your tests this resolves your issue, it means you have a plugin that isn’t compatible with the PHP version that was natively running. If this doesn’t resolve your problems you may have a bad .htaccess rule that needs to be corrected.

Again end of the day, your host should be able to point this out really quickly for you. But hopefully, these steps will help avoid the long on hold times.

Thank you for advice/assistance. I am going through the steps to fix this issue now/

Looks like you got it working :).

Would love to know if you managed to find out exactly what caused it and you had to do to resolve the problem. I’m sure it would help others who end up in your predicament.
