Support » Plugin: All in One SEO Pack » The Options below the Content no longer show

  • Resolved Bliss7

I don’t know why, but the Settings/Options that used to show below the draft of the content on the particular post or page, suddenly no longer show.

I am referring to the fields below the content, where you key in the Title, and the Summary, etc – for the search engines….

Those used to show, and some time ago, they just went away for my site.

I really have no idea why?

Now the only settings I can do are on the main plugin settings page. But the settings/options below the page content are all missing.

I am still on WordPress 4.9.10, but this is not the cause. Other sites I have this plugin installed, they all work fine. I can even edit the Settings for the post or pages list right on their list pages (like before, and nothing has changed).

    WordPress Virtuoso

Go to All in One SEO Pack -> General Settings -> SEO on These Content Types
and make sure you’ve selected the appropriate content types (posts, pages, and whatever else you want them to show up on).

Yes, these are ticked. I never changed them for years. But the problem just happened suddenly out of the blue, although I am not exactly sure when it happened.

My last two published pages no longer have the SEO options below the content editing area in WordPress. And all the old pages (if I edit them now), also no longer show the plugin settings/options.

And all along, they used to be there.

If you’re using the new Gutenberg editor, click on the menu button (three vertical aligned dots) in the top right corner of the screen and then click Options again at the bottom. Is All in One SEO Pack enabled under Advanced Panels?

No, I am still on WP 4.9.10 and not using anything related to Gutenberg (I do not need to)….

This is a site I hardly touch (unless adding content occasionally), and yet this happens…

Is this bug related to my theme? I am using a premium theme, but there is no issue (so far for years).

Then check “Screen Options”, which is the equivalent for the classic editor.

Of course, I already checked the Screen Options, and no….it’s not caused by that. There is no reference in the Screen Options for your plugin there (at all).
