I've tried lots of caching plugins, and I'd made repeated attempts to use the super-popular W3 Total Cache, but always ended up uninstalling it because it invariably broke something, in a serious way. Maybe it's because I didn't set it up correctly, but I just couldn't make sense of all of the hundreds of options.
I'd basically given up on the idea of caching plugin, but I still needed a way to make my site faster. And then I saw a review on WP Fastest Cache that described my experience exactly, so I decided to give it a go, and boy am I glad I did.
Not only has it not broken any of my sites, but it's made all of them significantly faster. We only had one really minor issue with a CSS cascade that was making some things look slightly funny, and Emre quickly worked (over a weekend!) to find a fix. Compared to the complete disaster all the other caching plugins made of my sites, I am super impressed.
I love the simplicity of the options, and even though sometimes I have the urge to have more fine-grained control, I think that's just because I'm used to plugins being SO heavy on options, most of which I don't need. And then I remember W3 Total Cache and truly appreciate the deceptive simplicity of this powerful plugin.
I've now deployed it on all of my sites, and they're all still working perfectly, just twice as fast. And I am one happy camper :D
It works. It does what it says. It's easy to use. I love it!
