I gave it a bad rating last month because of this annoying purple notification box that would pop-up in wp-admin everytime you changed pages. When working in wp-admin a lot it becomes really annoying. However, the author fixed the issue. Thank you!

    Hi @2pupsncat,

    Thanks for your feedback.

We are sorry to hear you find the Yoast notifications annoying. Do you mean the purple warning bubble that appears in the top bar (see screenshot)? The bubble is only expected to show up temporarily when you activate the plugin and should vanish after a few seconds. If you see the bubble in other situations, i.e. when you create a new post, it may be an issue related to cache. Please, clear all caches on your website and check if the problem resolves.

If it persists, we’d kindly ask you to submit a bug report to our development repository. This KB article explains how to write a good bug report. Our developers will look into the issue and try to find a solution.

On the other hand, you can disable Yoast SEO (including the notifications) from the admin bar by following these steps.

Yes, the purple warning bubble. It shows I have three notifications. Anytime I change to a new page in wp-admin the pop-up shows. It’s very annyoing!
