The method used to mark up plugin cookies is brittle

This is a great idea and one of the best solutions for GDPR compliance I have seen yet but the solution for controlling cookies set by plugins is very brittle and almost unusable. If you scan all of your plugins and manually add a tag to them then if that plugin file is updated in a future update you will lose these changes. Plugin files should never be manually updated.

Plugin developers need to expose their cookie dropping functions so that plugins like this one can properly control the plugin cookies. Or another solution needs to be found.
