the menu always jumps back to the default language

    Hello!
    I use Polylang on 3 websites. After the first site I was totally thrilled how easy and problem-free the multilingualism can be realized. Now I have made 2 more pages with Polylang and on both pages the menu always jumps back to the default language. E.g. I open home/en and want to open another page/en, then this opens only with page/de. So i I click again on /en and the page opens in english. as soon as I want to open another page, it is again in german. The URL slugs are correctly present, nevertheless I have recreated the menus, tried all possibilities like clear cache, re-enable permalinks, uninstall plugins, matched settings with the working page etc, but found no solution. Now I hope that someone here can help me.
