Support » Plugin: WP Job Manager » The Link You Followed Has Expired – editing job preview

    Using the Jobify theme I’m getting “The link you followed has expired.” messages when editing a job that hasn’t been submitted yet and when trying to submit the same job. When switching themes to say WordPress 2019 theme, the message does not appear. I’ve copied all of the files from job_manager into the child theme and parent theme but with no change. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    You’re using an older Jobify version. There is an update available with the fix.

    In yourtheme/job_manager/job-preview.php (yourtheme would be your child theme directory, if you’re using a child theme), make sure you have the following code below the <form ...> tag:

    	 * Fires at the top of the preview job form.
    	 * @since 1.32.2
    	do_action( 'preview_job_form_start' );

    Thanks Jake. I had tried your suggestion prior to posting but to no avail. I came to the conclusion a few days ago after posting this that the theme would need to be updated and I’ve spent most of the last few days rebuilding the child theme after updating to Jobify 3.0. Whoever built the original site did a poor job of placing customizations in the child theme itself so it was a project…but now it’s done. Thanks again for your time.

    I am suing Service Finder Theme and getting same kind of error.
