# The `limitdays` Variable Doesn’t Work on Shortcode

 * We use the shortcode on our church’s site to display 3 days events. Not sure 
   when it stopped, but now the calendar field is empty. Removing it “works”, but
   displays a week.

   tried to use your support form, but I got the same error.

 * For now, we changed it from `view="week"` to `view="basic"` until this is fixed.

 * I’m sorry to hear that the form didn’t work.
 * As for the `limitdays` setting, if you set that to 3 and there are no events 
   within the next 3 days, you won’t get any events.
 * I think you may want to use the `count` parameter instead to show a fixed number
   of events, rather than a fixed number of days.
 * It may help if I get the System Report so I can see if there are any issues I’m
   not accounting for here. Please try the support form again, but be sure not to
   include any code in the text you paste into the form (the system report itself
   should be fine), and don’t include any attachments. Thanks.
