Mostly, the problem happens because the default charset of the website database doesn’t support those symbols. Please share some screenshots in Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Database tab. The settings should be

Database charset utf8mb4
Database collation utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci

It was fixed in the version 5.17.0 of the plugin. Please follow these steps to install the new version (it is important to follow these steps because they will make sure that the table for storing reviews is re-created):

1. Deactivate the plugin (old version)
2. Delete the plugin (old version)
3. Install the plugin (new version)
