    Hi @salmatdc

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

It sounds There are some thumbnails missing, could you try to regenerate the thumbnails https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ and see if makes any difference?

    Best Regards
    Patrick Freitas

    Hi @salmatdc

Installing the plugin is the first step only, sorry for not being clear on that. After installing it you actually need to run option to regenerate images in it and only then it will be clear if it helped.

Can I know please how this problem happened so I can avoid it next time?

That’s fair question but I’m afraid I don’t really have response to it. Smush only reports that it couldn’t process image because the given image file should be on server according to the database but physically it’s not there.

    This usually happens e.g. if

    – some image files were manually removed from server (e.g. to free up space) and not deleted from Media Library

    – if some other image optimization plugin/tool was used before and the process failed

    – or if there is or was some kind of “offload” used so images are not really stored locally to the site.

    Best regards,
    Adam
