    Hi

When ever I try and run a backup job I get this error message

“The HTTP response test get a error “couldn’t connect to host”The HTTP response test get a false http status ()”

And then in look in the information section everything seems fine aprt from:

Server self connect: The HTTP response test get a error “couldn’t connect to host”The HTTP response test get a false http status ()The HTTP response gives back the false body “”

Please advise what I can do to resolve this.

Hello that lokks like that you hoster not allows self connections or there is a confugration problem on the server.

You can try to activate Alternative cron http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Alternative_Cron

    Hi Daniel

    Thanks for responding.

I asked my hosting company and they said:

“Unfortunately we don’t allow self connections on our shared hosting packages.

I’m sorry this doesn’t help. We stop this as self connections can cause server performance issues if run incorrectly.”

What can I do to resolve this and get the plugin to work?

    Thanks

    Robert

I have the same problem, tell me how to fix it?

I could not fix it, due to my hosting provider.

Any news on this? I have the same issue I believe although this used to work before and about 2/3 weeks ago, it just stopped working?
