The home page is redirected to wrong page

    Dear everyone:

    As a rookie of WP, I really need help for following issue:

    Issue: when I access the website, www. d2u.studio, as non admin. role, It keep redirecting to the wrong home page which I set before (but I have changed the home page after ) , but When I can open the right home page with adm. role, everything is OK.

    Detail: i am setting up a website, http://www.d2u.stuio, and used to set the my account page as landing page under other theme, and already set reading setting: “Home” as Front page. Here is what happened:

    When I use my adm. role to go www. d2u.studio, it shows perfectly.

    But when I log off this role, as try to access the website as a potential customer with different computer, by typing www. d2u.studio, it automatically redirected to www. d2u.studio/my-account, and the website shows that “too my redirect …”, and I don’t know how to land the http://www.d2u.studio as the regular potential customer to regular home page.

    Your help will be highly appreciated.

    Hi jyd2ustudio,
    The link you have given is not running. Too many redirect problem occurs when you loop through 2 or pages continuously.
    Just a suggestion to you.
    To set a page as home page.No need to do any special thing. Just go to Settings->Reading
    Here you will get “Front page displays” select “A static page (select below)” and from below dropdown select “My Account” and save.
    This will make “My Account” page as your home page.
    Hope that will work for you.

    I had this same “hiccup” and appreciate your help! Usually have a heck of a time finding a simple solution for my issues on forums – but this did the trick. THANKS
