The french exception :o) Å“ and oe

  • Hi everybody,
Usually I type my post in Word and then copy-paste the result directly in my WordPress posting form.
In french, we have a particular letter which is “Å“” (the html code is actually : œ).
In word, it is automatically generated when I type “oe”. My former blog (b2) was dealing with this kind of special letters, but not WordPress. When I publish a post with Å“, it is transformed in ½. When I have a look at the source, the html code is then : ½
What can I modify to handle this kind of problem ??
    Thanks a lot !
