    If you use this plugin, you are ahead of the game in SEO and social sharing — even by filling in the basic fields. This is an awesome plugin. It plays well with both All-In-One SEO and Yoast SEO plugins once you get them configured correctly — WPSSO fills in deficiencies in those plugins and offers much better social meta tags than any other SEO plugin I’ve found. The free version adds EXCELLENT schema.org markup — probably more than most of us will need for now. I checked Pagespeed Insights and GMetrix and there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable performance hit to the end user. Updated often. Bugs and plugin glitches are fixed FAST.

    Overall, there’s an incredible amount of great features in the free version of this plugin. Get some of the freemium add-ons to extend the feature set of this great plugin.

    Thanks – that’s a well balanced review, and I appreciate the feedback. 🙂 If you’d posted a new thread in the support forum (hint, hint), we could have turned that into a 5 star review beforehand. 😉

    You can disable the duplicate meta tag check by hooking this filter and returning false:

    'wpsso_check_post_header' ( $bool, $post_id, $post_obj );

    The duplicate check should not slow down the admin interface (it should take about 1/10th of a second to perform the check), so you may be seeing hints of an existing performance issue with your site.

    As for the Divi theme compatibility, it’s the first time I hear of any issue with the back-end. I’m curious to know more about its’ effect, and how to trigger the problem (so I can attempt to reproduce the issue). Would you mind opening a new ticket at http://wpsso.support.wpsso.com/support/home?

    Updated my review from 4 to 5 stars and removed the mentions of issues with Divi and the backend. I think the backend issue was fixed by Elegant Themes. I also added a few more glowing recommendations. Sorry it took so long to do so. Thank you for getting back with me!
