    I love AKISMET!
    I don’t keep track of how many pieces of spam email AKISTMET catches. AKISMET does that for you with a nice graphical chart. It’s easy to see all the good work AKISMET is doing for me.
    After using this plugin for so many years, I can’t remember when it ever caught a false positive. Very occasionally I get an email saying there is a comment or two to moderate that turns out to be spam. no biggy. At least it wasn’t automatically approved.
